Agency Life

HIstory

Before I went deeper into tech / hardware / social media, I cut my teeth in the agency world. A mix of consumer, pharma, publishing - I did it all. Always a variation of a producer/project manager, at times strategist and UX designer, front end developer (not kidding), I loved the 'do whatever you need to do to get it done’ style of this work.

As a senior producer @ Giant / Evoke, I recall an extremely stressed call from a dev partner who wasn’t going to hit a deadline, potentially missing our launch. Without hesitation, I booked a ticket and flew form SF > Denver late at night, got a taxi to the office, pulled up a chair and opened my laptop and starting coding the final changes right along side the engineers. I adapt to the circumstance, learning/evolving to get the work done smart and right.

Neulasta.com & MCM System

While the website was to be an evolution vs a revolution, it required some deep engagement with dev teams in India to both reverse the damage done by previous agency partners, repair the relationship, troubleshoot some extremely difficult technical problems with the site itself (I was debugging JS late into the night with my pal Sriram).

I brought key results, necessary changes, and implemented a full redesign while simultaneously facilitating a multi-channel marketing framework implementation with brand strategy, analytics, design, etc for their reps and marketing partners alike to leverage.

Neulasta iPad Experience (Veeva)

We pushed the Veeva platform to do things it had never done before… beyond design, analytics incorporation, and MCM integration - this was a game changing experience that we developed, then was mandated to be duplicated across Amgen’s products/surfaces.

The Answer 2 Cancer

TheA2C.org was a partnership between The Cancer Research Institute of New York and Bristol-Meyers Squibb.

We designed and developed the world’s first social media and storytelling platform for the, at the time revolutionary, immunotherapy treatment for cancer.

This platform was intended to allow for patients, caregivers, and medical professionals to find out relevant information about the latest treatments, caregiving advice, and more. It was a first of its kind, and went on to win many awards, including a website of the year gold award from 360pharma.

EW 2014 Emmy Award Experience

EW.com needed a bespoke Emmys experience in 2014. 10up was up for the job.

Myself and a few designers, strategists, and engineers put our heads together and came up with an approach that created a live feed / live voting experience for the play by play nature of the red carpet.

It also included necessary monetization strategy components, as this was a high traffic event that sponsors would be amped to be a part of, so I as the senior strategist at the time, helped consult on how to incorporate as part the core design decision making process.
